Blog updated to WordPress 2.5

Attention all admins (i.e. Staff Members and Contributing Editors), the blog has just updated to WordPress 2.5, so if the Publisher Dashboard looks different, that is why. Already I may have noticed a couple of things I don’t like, but I upgraded to 2.5 because everything I read about it indicated to me that the benefits would definitely outweigh any downsides. Already I do like the ‘Write | Manage | Design…’ aspects, and ability to upload multimedia, files, etc. So please share any feedback you may have regarding this new format, and let’s hope it will only help us continue to improve all our publishing efforts here at Jpopexpress.com!

I remember reading about the new version of WP a few days ago. I checked out some screen shots as well.

I like the multimedia stuff to. I’ll be checking out the link you provided to see what else is new. =)

Pebbles, actually I am upset to report that I have been experiencing some issues with this version of WordPress already (such as the ability to ‘Insert a Link’ in the WYSIWIG editor, plus a couple of other issues), but I am consulting with WordPress support to try and get these resolved. Let’s stay tuned and remain optimistic I guess! (WP 2.5 DOES still look pretty promising in a lot of ways ;) )

Thats to bad. I haven’t gotten the chance to try it out it yet but i’m glad you noticed any problems with it. And i agree, let’s remain optimistic! I’m sure everything will get worked out. =)
